Dairy Free Eggnog Martini


2 cans 15 oz coconut milk (full fat)

3/4 unsweetened oat milk

1/4 tsp ground ginger

1/8 tsp turmeric

1 tablespoon ground nutmeg

1/4 cup granulated sugar

1/2 cup amaretto

1/2 cup vodka

2 cups of the eggnog mixture

1 tsp cinnamon

1 tablespoon sugar

garnish with nutmeg

4 martini glasses


Eggnog: Pour coconut milk in a medium saucepan. Add sugar and bring to medium heat. Stirring until sugar dissolves. The consistency should be smooth.

Turn down the heat to medium low and add remaining ingredients. Whisk and stir until fully combined. Let sit on med low for 5 mins. Remove from heat and store in an air tight container overnight.

For the cocktail, keep the martini glasses in the freezer for about 5 mins. Make a cinnamon sugar mixture on a plate to rim the glasses.

In a cocktail shaker, add the vodka, amaretto, and two cups of the eggnog with ice cubes. Shake for about 1-2 mins. Pour into each martini glass. Garnish with nutmeg or cinnamon.
