Whipped Feta with Truffle Honey
Ingredients
1/2 lb goat and sheep's milk feta
6 oz sour cream
juice of 1 lemon
1 tbsp lemon zest
1/2 tsp pepper
1/4 cup olive oil, more or less depending on the consistency you want it
Garnish
2 tbsp truffle honey - I use The Truffleist Truffle Honey
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
1/2 tsp Za'tar
Directions
01) In a food processor or blender combine all the dip ingredients and blend until smooth. Slowly add in the olive oil til your desired consistency
02) To serve transfer whipped feta onto a plate or bowl and spoon the truffle honey over it. Sprinkle the red pepper flakes and za'tar seasoning
03) Serve with sourdough, pita bread, or veggies
Tip: The whipped feta can be made ahead and stored in an airtight container up to 4 days
