Double Chocolate Pumpkin Monster Cookies


1 & 1/2 cups all purpose flour

3/4 cup cocoa powder

1/2 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp baking powder

1/4 cup light brown sugar

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1/2 cup butter, unsalted room temperature

1/2 cup pumpkin puree

1 large egg, room temperature

1/2 tsp kosher salt

1 tsp vanilla extract

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1/4 tsp ground cloves

1/4 tsp nutmeg

1/2 cup reese's pieces

mini candy eyeballs


1) Preheat the oven 350 F.

Add all the dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cocoa powder, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg ) in a bowl. Mix together

2) Beat the butter and sugars on high until light and fluffy. Add in the egg and pumpkin puree. Mix to combine.

3) Slowly add the dry ingredients with the wet. Fold until completely combined. Mix in the reese's pieces.

4) Using a 6cm cookie/ice cream scooper, scoop a bit of batter. Transfer to a lined baking sheet an pat down a bit.

5) Bake for 10 mins. Add the candy eyeballs and let it cool.
